I started a blog last year as an experiment and model for my Essay Writing students, and here I am giving it another shot. After school ended, there was little incentive for me to continue my writing efforts, since the football season was over, with Manchester United crowned champions of Europe and England. I figured I'd start up again in August, once the Premier League season began. August came and went, and I was consumed by schoolwork and put my blogging on hold.
Now I pledge to write at least once a week, on all matters related to Manchester United, the Premier League, and football in general. I'll be going to see United play Tottenham Hotspur in April at the Theatre of Dreams, and you can be sure that I'll have a detailed report. Also, though I am a schoolteacher and my old blog was established as a model for students and was therefore somewhat tame, I will not be holding back in my posts here. I reserve the right to write that "United played like shit" on the weekend. After all, teachers need to vent too, and sometimes "their performance was disappointing" does not have the most authentic ring.
My first effort will be to move all my old posts over here to blogspot.com. Until later, then!
